I have spent too much of today on this computer. As in, all of it. Reading Limyaael's essays and picking at Greenhelm (I'm averaging a paragraph a day, which isn't good) and exploring the Red Dwarf Plot Inconsistencies Project. I meant to do washing, but there was a queue of seven people and it wuld have been over an hour, so I'm going to eat dinner soon and then go and watch anime with people (the one that started at 5 sounded good, but I don't want to wander in after it's started) and then do washing. I have my first essay due in next week, and it can be any poem from The Norton Anthology of Poems. Any poem of 1800. I may end up just opening it at random. I plan to do it next weekend, after my first seminars, but I don't see how it will help. I'm also meant to use proper sources and so on, which I've always been terrible at. Have to find a relatively well known poem out of that lot. Maybe even one I've read before (and that is going to be a trawl, because while I've read some poetry my main source until now has been the Nation's Top 100 Best Loved Poems, which probably doesn't overlap much with the anthology).

Slowly but surely, I'm beginning to freak out over all this uni stuff. Like actually having to do work from now on. And fitting in jobs and volunteering and clubs around it. Oh, and shopping and washing and so on. I feel the need to make complicated timetables. I have a doctor's appointment at 9:40 tomorrow (fun) and then a nice big wait before my first lecture, which I will no doubt spend online. As always. Maybe I'll do washing then, if I don't get it done tonight. Apparantly I've got to expect a queue whatever time I go.

Mmmm. Must timetable.
