I can hear MSN noises. Someone very close by must have MSN. I can't make it download :(

Still no luck with the ftp, though I have worked out how to check my uni emails on this computer. Also been downloading Opera and skins for both it and firefox. All is pretty now, and I can use one to check my nkkingston address and the other minerva_solo. I always forget the former because I leave the latter logged in.

Is raining muchly. Have been invited to a party in E block (well, Nicky was invited, but we'll probably all end up going if anyone does), though with the rain and all no one's particularly enthusiasitc. There is cheesy music coming through my window, probably from the bar or the marquee. I wonder what kind of night the people who managed to get tickets for teh Freshers Bash are having. Probably hot and sweaty and loud. Meh.

I'm going to go and watch bargain hunt now, because Kate's friend who owns a pub is in it, and he and the girl from teh opposite team ended up going out ^_^

For some reason the download link on the MSN window doesn't open in firefox (something to do with javascript being disabled by default, I reckon) - on my flatmate's computer I had to download IE for her, and download it in that. Maybe that would work? Or play around with the javascript settings in firefox.

I managed to get it to download via Opera in the end. I think you're right about the javascript settings.
