25/9/04 06:16 pmFailed the driving test. Oddly, only got on major, on the parallel park. This is od because I spotted at least two other incidents which ought to have been majors, in my mind, and after the aprallel park I forgot to put my mirror back up, which he entirely failed to notice. So really, I'd have been disappointed if i passed because I blatantly shouldn't have.
Been attacking Uni stuff, and have found that I may have lost some vital forms. Ooops.
The Whicker Man is brilliant. Christopher Lee in a dress is creepy, not funny, and the people in masks combined with the music is definitely having the indended affect. I watched the Director's Cut, which warns you at het beginning that some of the original footage is in appalling condition, and you can tell when it switches from original version to previously cut stuff. Most of it isn't noticeable, but at hte end there's two scenes where everyone is greeny-yellow. It's cool, but it would have been better if they tinted the decent stuff to match and explain it as the sunset, rather than the rather jarring change back to normal tones. Music is brilliant.
Work again tomorrow. I may have to ask them to cut down my hours the week after next, because there's no way I'm going to be able to sort everything for Uni and work as much as I have been.
