For anyone interested in writing hp fic, here's a challenge I posted at FAP about a year and a half ago. I swear I'll keep track of the thread now, so if you're interested in writing something a bit fun, please check it out?

I managed to sleep til 9 today. For me, that's an accomplishment. Okay, I woke at 7 and spent two hours dozing in bed, but it's still a triumph. I've been tearful recently from overtiredness (and possibly PMT, but I've never had PMT and I can't see why I'd get it now). Like 'you don't bleieve my feet hurt' tearful, or 'I can't decide whether to take a bath before bed' tearful. That night (day before yesterday) I went to bed at 9pm, so it helped, but I was still tearful yesterday. I'm so not an emotional person, so it surprises and irritates me when I'm anything other than content.

I'm scaring people on the internet by finding people who are going to York. Hey, I figure I know them about as well as I know Roz's cousin who I've never met and have no idea what he (she??) looks like. It'll be cool to get there and find people who even have the same interests as me. Sharing likes and dislikes with a group of friends is still new to me, and it surprises me every time any of this lot reveal they like Terry Pratchett, or F1, or cheesy Sci Fi. Previously, I've had everything in common personality-wise nad nothing preferences wise with friends. Sophie and I get on like a house on fire, but it's all anecdotes and not shared discussion. You know, she has the sweetest boyfriend. He surprised her with a trip to Disneyland. And he's funny, smart, great looking... Very happy for her.

So, that paragraph started one place and ended somewhere completely different. Guh, work soon. Must go make lunch. Yes, now. At least I'll get to try on clothes and buy uniform today.

also i went to bed at 6:30 and got up at 12...hehehe thats alot of sleeping..these painkillers make me so so so sleepy.

hmm i might take up ur challenge, but cing as i've never read a fic in my life, or have any clue what a cannon character is, i think i might fail.

canon character just means a character from the books. fanon is a popular fan interpretation of that character, like a lot of people think of Draco as sexy, smart and redeemable (fanon!Draco), when in the books he's ugly and a bit of a useless prick (canon!Draco). And if you've never read a fic then you're much more likely to be original!

I'm looking forwards to reading this ^_^ I have sucked you into fan stuff. Mwahahaha!!!

I like challenges but ... sex-changes are on my list of 'Things that squick me so bad I won't even *think* about writing it'. It's just ... not something I'm comfortable with. Sorry.

fair enough. I still can't believe how long I neglected that. I came up with it after reading a Buffy fic on the same premise, and I haven't read any Buffy for years.
