(no subject)

So, it's not unknown for me to talk to myself. Or to inanimate objects. Or the weather (next time I update Sig Kinks, there's a little ficlet based on that fact). Normally it's a case of having too many trains of thought in my brain at once, so to cope I continue one outloud.

I always refer to myself in the plural. Never worked out why, but I've never managed to stop, either.

When I'm a bit stressed, I pick up a rhythm. To quote myslf earlier "Put it in the post box, watch it fall away." De dum de dum de dum dum, de dum de dum de dum. It's all very singsongy and childish and weird to listen to.

When I'm very stressed, I talk nonsense, but retain the rhythm. Basically I'm just listening to the sound of my own voice. Another quote from earlier: "Put it in the bank account, put the phone away." Ye-es...

So, two suitcases and five cardboard boxes later, I'm here, hiding from packing. I've sent eight different letters this morning, all of which means my PIN numbers, internet passwords, train card etc will turn up after I leave. And possibly my books. This time next week mum's going to be posting a lot of stuff to me. My room looks weird, since I'm stripped it of several posters and dangly ornaments, and I'm still contemplating taking my little stool. Made it myself, I did, when I was thirteen.

Going shopping for things like oven gloves soon, and then dropping over to Tor's. Can't spend all evening there, especially can't go out and get drunk, since we're leaving at aoubt 7AM tomorrow. I will try for one more update before I go, but after that I shall be internet deprived for a bit. I expect my inbox to be overflowing when I get back online, mind. please? ^_^ It'll do me good to be internet deprive for a bit, because I swear once I get to uni I shall never need to leave my room. I even have a toaster. Oh, and not one, but two mini ovens. And a kettle. All I need now is a fridge, and I've gone into hibernation.

So blatantly going to nag for a mini fridge when we're out ^_^ Oh, I will need some plug extension thingies. I imagine there will only be two plugs in the room, and I have many many plug in things now. Laptop, printer, toaster, kettle, fiberoptic light, slow cooker, quick cooker... I go to university and suddenly family are coming out of the woodwork with stuff that 'might' be useful. Next thing'll be a mini washer-drier, I just know it.

Seriously need to go for a walk. And contemplate taking hiking boots and watrproof, since I'm half convinced I'm going to end up joining a hiking club.
