20/8/04 05:27 pmI got home an hour early! Well, technically, four hours late. Agreed to work late because we've got piles of stock. literally. I spent large chunks of the day sorting through boxes. Almost missed the bus, since Chloe and her mates are going to Thorpe Park and they walk very veeery slowly towards hte stop. Very veeery slowly right up until the point where the bus roared past, and we all started pelting down the road.
Anyway, yes, I got your message,
almighty_frog. You'll find two pointless texts on your phone ^_^ I fugred either you had no battery, no money or no phone, so i spent my lunch watching the jive band. Having had to ring about when I was getting home multiple times, I'm not short on credit, so how bout we next attempt to organise this over the internet, or better yet, organise it for outside of work?
I've been sent money for good exam results and a promise of flapjacks ^_^ As my mother's Apple cake means all other apple ckes are dust to me, so does my grandomther's flapjacks destroy the souls of all other flapjacks. So going to take a tin of each to uni. And recipes. Anyway, jsut got invited to pub with Harry and Mike (computer guy and mate of parents). 1 - do not want to go to pub with previous generation people and 2 - do not want to move having spent entire day on feet. Apparantly people have been asking what I did to celebrate. It's making mum try to force champagne on me, even if it's just with dinner. I drink so little at home. Hell, I drink so little ever when left to myself. Given a choice between soft drink and alcohol I'll get soft, unless it's a party or pub (and even then I frequently go with soft as part of the not arsed to spend that much money on something that will actually make me thirstier).
There is stuff to read ^_^
