I have been meaning to ask: anyone feel like wandering around Gford's clubs and stuff one night? Not to go out and get pissed, necessarily, but to just have a bit of fun. Time has a Ladies Night thing on he 31st, but I'm out of the country then (there's another one in August, though, if people want to come with) and I'm trying to work out of The Drink's Student Night deal will still be on at this time of year. I just wanna go and exploit my legal drinkingness.

Would that be Gford in Srry?

I'm from Stnes, originally. That merry little townie hell near Hrow.

Small world!

it would be! I read your bio, but it didn't actually occur to me you might recognise it. I know Stnes. ...or, possibly, but it is a place name I recognise and considering my Geography that's a hugely positive leap, and imples I've got to have been through it, if not actually there, at least twice.

Very small world indeed ^_^

Heh.

I went to Guilfest a couple of years ago to see Pulp, with my friend Claireybiscuit, who lives in Woking. Or, outside Woking in a huuuge old farmhouse with lots of land.

If you've never been to Staines you really haven't missed much. I went to Brooklands College in Weybridge, though, which is nearer your way...

I dated a guy who used to go to Brooklands. He dropped out to go to Guildford Tech, which says a lot about the Tech's standards. My sister's been to Guilfest two years running now, but I've never worked up the enthusiasm to actually buy a ticket.

Heh. My cousin dropped out of Brooklands to go to Guildford Academy of Music or something. I dropped out the same year to, well... rehabilitate from glandular fever and later ME and convalesce from the fact my mother is a murderous psychopath.

And then I moved to north London to escape her and never went back...

Do we get fic tonight?

And also: if you get an AIM message from GH Moony, it's me! I'm not sure if you blocked me or something, but my messages are never responded to...

yep, more fic tonight! And I was wondering who GH Moony was. I haven't blocked you, I just almost never look at AIM, because I've only got it since I'm stuck with using AOL. AOL is useless for browsing, so I stick to IE, which means I've got no idea when windows pop up in the AOL browser until I'm shutting down. Stupid things even appeard behind the rest of their automatic popups.

I could rant about AOL for a long time, sorry. I'll add you to the Buddy List. At least that way when you try to IM me the AOL icon ought to flash, which is better than what I'm getting at the moment.

Hehe.

I've read the chapter - I want more! I want the next part because... well, it's done and that's excuse enough for me. I liked Bobby's angst. It makes you want to shake him and say, "But he does! He loffs youuuu!" like a stupid fangirl.

Because despite being fully literate and Not Fourteen, I can do that sometimes.

I'm frantically trying to write Christmas at the Black-Lupin-Potter house at the moment. Icky-sticky breakfast! Gotta love Christmas (not that I do). Have you had a chance to read through the horrors of the early chapters, yet?

Just finished four, I think. I see what you mean about the earlier ones being a bit wobbly, but the plot beneath them is really solid. I don't often read much HP slash because I find it hard to believe. You've put a lot of work into that area, and it's pretty original as well. I also love Draco's 'voice'.

Hehe - thanks. I promise that it does get much better. I've even been told my OMC is so real he could be canon (I'll give you fore warning so it doesn't spoil your enjoyment of him - he is a genuinely sweet boy, it's not a front at all! So many people hate him on the basis of him not being... well, you'll see what I mean, but yeah. Don't hate him because you think he's evil, because he's not).

I'm particularly fond of my Pups - which is kind of off-stage at the moment, but will be back in the next couple of chapters... ~stops doing The Spoiler Thing~

Draco's voice on the other hand is a bit on the quiet side, for now... he's becoming more expressive; kind of drowning it out. But you'll see!
