6/7/04 07:20 pmSomeone explain to me how to get hold of a copy of FrontPage before I go insane. I want so badly to update and fiddle and generally attack all websites. I can update fics, just about, but I want to do rather more niggly things. Oh, and a desire to redesign both Fleurs and Femme has come over me. And I need to work on SigKinks. That mostly.
So, if anyone has an XP MS Works disc they'd care to lend me, I'd be eternally greatful. Otherwise it's trying to install only FrontPage from the pirated buggy Win2000 copy we have knocking around somewhere (which is probably still far more reliable than anything I might get off winMX). Or I have to start saving and trying to find a software shop that'll sell MSWorks programs seperately.
And codecs still not making PoT work. It might work straight off on laptop - it does downstairs, which has never had internet access and hence never had any downloaded codecs, but runs too slowly to make it worth watching. PLus has no sound any more.

Frontpage? No! Frontpage = evil.
Use good old Notepad. ..... or, if you don't feel like being obsessive like me, go download Dreamweaver from kazaa or something. Better than Frontpage

Date: 8/7/04 12:57 am (UTC)I try notepad, but I really can't visualise what I'm typing. I end up with very plain pages, mostly. Is dreamweaver Adobe? I know I first learnt webpages (well, making blatant boring tables and links) on an adobe package, which was similar enough to Frontpage for me to work out one from the other
