minervasoloUpdated Fleursdelamort with Thorn's new fic, and mentioned counterfic thingy. I know I don't have time, but hey! Oh, and finished random x-emn fic. I really don't like it now that's it's done, but I'll leave it on ffn for a bit until i have something better to replace it with.
New resolution: ten situps a day and no snacking. I'm going on a cruise, so belly must go! Did about 60 situps today, but that's because I was sun bathing and... did I say sunbathing? I meant revising, obviously! ^_^
Someone sent me an HP fic to beta a short while ago. Just randomly, because they'd liked what I'd written and wanted some feedback. It was good, but it was a rapefic. No warning or anything in the email. Pointed out need for warnings many many times in the reply. I didn't beta it properly (as I would for Anria and co, leaving notes within the fics) because I wasn't hugely interested in reading it twice, but I left lots of general comments. It was pretty good, but the writer was trying to use rape as a way of bump starting it, and then used the good old time jump to avoid dealing with the consequences. Anyway, it was good, if a little naive, and really needed warnings.
So, that was my day. Run arrands, revise, sunbathe, walk, mess about online. Ought to have got more revision done, but it's much harder to revise outside than I'd thought... And it's still too hot now. gah.
