So, I managed to buy the same magazine twice.

I plead innocent, though, since the first time it was just, you know, a magazine, nd teh second time it was obscured by free gifts. So really, I bought a magazine and some 'gifts' and got the second magazine free.

That doesn't make much sense to me, either.

I spent so long looking out for Aenias, who's name I can't even spell just now. Happy giggly squealing at end though.

Hector ruled, Priam ruled, even Paris ruled. So, the Trojans ruled, basically. Brad Pitt was Brad, Sean Bean was Sean, and the Greeks were generally American actors. Okay, mild unfiarness there because I knew the actors playing the greeks, and didn't the Trojans (bar Orlando Bloom, obviously). But still, Brad Pitt bugged me. He was never Achilles, he was just Brad Pitt. And really, why was there so much Achilles anyway? Just an excuse to show off bare hips. Not complaining, but... Hn.

I know people laugh at Orlando Bloom's acting, but I don't think he does too badly. Most people wouldn't be able to fill a role with only three facial expressions (an improvement on the two he had in LotR). I don't even mean that mockingly. He made a very good Paris. Cute, innocent, a bit perplexed. And god is he pretty.

Much love for Hector and Priam. Huge much love. Especially Priam's voice. I swear I should know that actor off teh top of my head, but I'll look it up at some point instead. Anyway, very good. And ditto for Hector.

I figure that film would have been 50% better with 50% less Brad Pitt. It was 'Troy', not 'Achilles'. There are whole levels of politics and alliances that could have taken up that time. Hell, some kind of time gap could have been shoved in, to make it look like an actual 12 year siege, not a quick picnic on the beach then into the for supper.

Love for the horse.

I'm only going to see the film for a look at Brad. =)

I don't really get what folk see in Orlando Bloom. My female friends seem to all love him. He just looks like a pretty normal quite good-looking guy, not anything to scream about. But girls all do seem to have queer tastes in regards to men.

Orlando Bloom is very very pretty. Not handsome, or fit, just pretty. Perhaps there's an attraction in knowing he'll own more face care products than you, for us girls? I always preferred him over Elijah Wood. Never got that whatsoever. Prefer Brad PItt when he's being insane and unshaven, but Orlando Bloom when Brad Pitt's being clean hollywood poster boy.

There is lots of nekky Brad in the film, never fear. And most of the other guys are shirtless at least once.
