I've been Sassered!

So, we've got the Sasser worm. Hnce updating from college, before anyone panics. Mum said we were being so careful not to get it... Yeah. So careful by using the internet just as much as usual and all. But anyway, apparantly it will take some weeks to get it sorted out, since we installed a new harddrive, since we didn't realise it was the Sasser at first (well, we've been having almost identical issues from hte beginning with that computer) sowe now have it on two, maybe even three hardrives. We'll need to reinstall a bunch of programs, too. Oh, and because I backedup some of my stuff onto my computer just before we stuck in the new harddrive, my crappy slow-as-slow computer might have it too. Though I'm not sure. I kept trying to coypy something called thumbs.dbs onto the CD, but it lacked certain files so I told it to skip it. Would it make sense if that was the Sasser?

Anyway, I'm stuck to the college comps for the next few weeks, maybe til Study leave. This means very little updating of anything, including here, and minimal email checking. I suppose it's another excuse for not getting any of SignificantKinks up. Hope it's all sorted by the end of hte month though, because I have character pages for Fleurs that I wanted to get up as a 'site birthday' kind of thing.

*hugs* thank you! It's very strange having limited internet access. Everyone on my FList posts all this interesting stuff and the college computers are set too dark to read it! Oh well. I'll have a day at some point of fun catching up.
