minervasololemon tea!
I think I'm definitely not good with normal tea any more. But then, loving tea with lemon. Tastes much more refreshing, and then I feel all sophisticated and stuff. And hey, no nasty affects of normal tea. I can drink lemon tea and retain an appetite!
Stress seems to have arrived. Just, bang, like that last night. Couldn't sleep. And then felt guilty, since if was awake anyway I ought to have nagged people into taking my to Tor's party. I need to plan things more at the moment. I have this idea in my head that I'll be able to do revision at weekends, but it's not looking that way just now. So i have one fic to beta, one fic to write and then everything else is going on hold, because I know when I'm stressed I write more and if I spend all my time writing I won't get any revision done.
York is so far away. I remember now why I didn't want to go anywhere above the top of Wales. And on that note, I had no idea how much of England was above the top of Wales. There's this whole chunk of country up there that I've been blind to my whole life. And yet, which I've visited. But York is so far, and everyone else will be so far. How far is it from York to Durham? York is six hours from here. If I forget something, that's a damn long way to go back and get it. And I have to take sheets and duvets and everything, so not much chance of training it up and down.
Okay, so mostly I've just worried about what happens if I get homesick, the answer to which would be stick it out and get over it. And the fact that it normally takes me several years to make real friends, so I could end up in a house full of strangers in hte second year. But then, it's mostly Northerners, and Northerners are so nice. And it's a very nice university, with a nice degree, and it's set me quite high grades so if I do't get in it's "Exeter, here I come."
Anyway, did people enjoy the party last night? Many apologies for not being there. I was in bed by 9 ^_^

Date: 18/4/04 02:57 am (UTC). . . York can't be six hours away, Durham's only five and that's above it! (Did you go up during rush hour?) They don't look that far apart, though. Maybe half an hour if you get a fast train and don't have to change. Whee, you'll be quite close to me! XD
