minervasoloCutest thing happened earlier. I was about to sign off, when I spotted someone on AIM. Turns out is was a girl (?) in California who couldn't sleep after watching Gothika, and who had been reading the most recent LJ entries and decided to IM me. Had a nice little chat about snow and the like. Very sweet. I like it when random strangers what to speak to me ^_^
Sophie texted me (not the one from the dream). Wants to meet up with me and Ellie. I haven't seen Ellie in aggeees. Ellie being the compulsive liar girl, but she's also been a sweetheart to my face and spontaneously bought me a philosophy book once, so really, as long as she isn't hurting anyone (i.e. Sophie) I don't care. I take things she says with a pinch of salt, and I like her. Unfortunaly, I'm in York on the days suggested, so we're trying to arrange something at the weekend. I can see me not getting a lot of Psych done... She and Sohpie, lucky buggers, have next week off as well. Ah, but haven't seen Sophie for so long. She got into Oxford ::nodnod:: Very pleased for her.
And now we're off to a barbeque, where there will be girls 'our age' (read: somewhere between 13 and 25), one of whom is very frequently described by her parents as 'special', which makes people wonder if she's got some kind of mental disorder. She might be anorexic. Oh well. New people, and food I am not hungry for, and an excuse to escape whenever I want (revision).
