minervasoloOff to my aunt's today, so chloe can go find a pretty dress for her prom.

Seems we having a lot of mum's old friends over at some point. People I barely know. Many have promised to bring kids and teenagers, but chances are they'll wriggle out of it, because we've some how agreed to have it here, me and Chloe are stuck. And we're having chilli con carne and Dolphin sushi. Ignoring the large number of vegetarians, and the fact I can't eat fish. It's all be organised by one of mum's old friends, very pushy about it all, organising it at our house before we'd agreed and declaring he's going to drag people along who don't want to come. He's a nice enough guy, but very pushy. Mum thinks it's got something to do with him being an unusual religion, or from somewhere in Africa, or something, neither of whch I was even aware of. and, oh wonderful, he's bringing his dog.
Not a dog person.
And now my fingers are cold and stiff, so I'll probably wander off to have a shower and wonder why I'm the only one up when we're meant to be getting to my aunt's before lunch. And it's several hours drive.
