So, who's noticed the lj_serialadder thing? Naturally it's all over fandom_wank. Scrolling through the comments, there's a wonderful bit about marquees and how to do them. Including this example. Hehe. Actually, pretty much the whole thread is a riot. Though you only get 'stalking/being stalked by' in your user info if you're set to English (US). Pity, I rather liked that. I really really hope LJ don't delete it.

I still keep reading it as 'seria ladder' though. XP

Tell you what, go look at the post on fandom_wank. It's snarky, but not as cruel as f_w can get. Just a few highlights from the thread and a lot of people going "sheesh, overreact much?"

OKay, other random stuff.
1 - Book of Ratings. Because I can not pimp out this link enough. Hilarious.
2 - lorebrandcomics. Same guy, but I decided I love this strip. Especially since you can get it on a coffee mug.If I had money I would get that mug.
3 - Nice Hair, Queen of Wands, Scandal Sheet, Something Positive, Count Your Sheep, Etc, Slackers. Whee, more comic linkage.
4 - Heartless Bitches International. Does what it says on the tin

8 - And vampire stories. Haven't even looked properly at this, so not sure why I'm putting it here...

I loved Dr Who as a kid, but unfortunately I'm too young to have seen most of it. Caught most of the Darlek reruns though ^_^ There's a new series coming out next year! Can't wait. And strange cartoons in the meantime, of course

Hehehaha I've seen a bunch of it via the re-runs on PBS and through tapes. I had completly forgotten that there was the cartoon...I was soo excited when I heard about it then college life ate my soul and I forgot! lol What is the deal with the new series? Did the cast the Doctor yet? I'll have get the tv rips off the net till they get it to the states though... so you're lucky you'll get it earlier.

they've cast the doctor, and there are rumours of Billy Piper for the assistant (no!). Filming ought to be starting later this year. I'm glad they're keeping the old continuity though.

BBC haven't shown a rerun of Doctor Who since I was about five, and then only the feature length episodes (I don't think they quite count as films). my big mistake was not getting into sci-fi until i was about twelve. Oops!
