minervasolo2 days, 4 pages of Flist to catch up on. And only one entry from DHR_valentine, which has been spamming my Flist for months now thanks to the ficexchange. huh. You all busy peopple, it seems.
I am mostly internet deprived at the mo. Clo remembered that she had four coursework deadling today on Friday, I think, so, yeah. She's taken the day off, but she hasn't got a hope in hell of finishing them all by the end of today. Insert cries of 'when will she ever learn?' here.
Went to the Isdle of Wight yesterday. No Clo, obviously. Good fun. Wandered around a replica of the Endeavor (sp?). That ship was tiny! 94 men on it, and really, really, tiny. Plus animals. The replica was accurate, apparantly, in every way except for the occasional lightbulb and nagiation equipment hidden away from the visitors. Slightly amused at how many of the officers died of dysentry and fever, but Cook was fine. I smell a conspiracy.
We also did some other stuff, I'm sure, but I conked out by lunch. Really nasty swollen throat. It didn't feel sore, but I figured I'd be off college today. But I feel fine now, so fair's fair. Anyway, much tripping down memory lane, and being blown about by gale force winds. We used to holiday on the IOW every year before Gradnad and dad died. We've done two day trips now, both for mum's birthdays, but I can't see us ever taking a proper holiday there again.
We have all of blackadder (all four seasons!) on DVD now. ^_^ yay for mother's birthdays, eh?
