I dreamt about panicking about it too. Gah. Though there's a distinct lack of mention of which oil, though I think it was on the news so I could probably check.

This is why i could never join Greenpeace. I'd commit suicide in a few months because I'd be convinced there was no hope for the world and nothing worth living for. Without denial and repression I am nothing. Suicide is still a viable alternative.

Tired now. And stressed.

Don't worry - about 20 years ago they've been told there are only 20 more years of coal left. And now we're told the same thing ^^ They keep discovering new reserves and new ways of doing things more efficiently. ^^

You'd think, though, they'd do something about it. If we're running out of this that and the other, finding ways to push back the deadline isn't going to work forever. We need to find a way of implementing full time alternatives before we run out, so if something goes wrong we've still got a cushion. Ehh, I'll leave the campaigning to my mother. She enjoys that kind of thing.

I'm sure people are trying - although how hard I cannot guess. With the coal and oil crisises still fresh on people's minds, there's no way they're just ignoring what's going on. There are so many alternative energy sources already, they just don't want to use it because it's much more expensive than fossil fuels. We just have to wait until they make alternative energy more economical ^^"

dont worry about it, if oil is ment to run out in 6 years, then they'll prob find more to keep us going 4 at least anougther 10. and we have all the gas and coal to use, that's got to give us anouther 2, so that's 12 years. then we can run on nuclear 4 a bit, and all glow in the dark, and after about 12 years of that we should have wind farms set up ect. that means we have 5 years to enjoy clean energy b4 the big freez hits and we al die! yay
