minervasoloStomp was good. Most impressed by the lighters, so the matchboxes and the kitchen sinks (complete with washing up) came a close second and third. Yes, you can make music with lighters. God knows how many microphones were on stage. Some of it was propbably prerecorded, but a lot of the dustbin stuff couldn't have been, because the onstage noise would have overwhelmed it anyway.
Didn't go to college today. Tired, headachy, slighty queasy and so frighteningly exhausted. Based on a poor excuse: tired, hot and headachy. Still, considering I managed to doze til twelve and was still shattered when I went into college to drop IT cw off, may be just as well. And I've still got the insane-driving-me cough. And mother wants me to take tomorrow off, because she'd got a lot of driving to do otherwise. Sister off to France for Skiing, she is she is. And I only had one two hour lesson anyway, so how much worth it? Not at all, really.
Handing IT in was amusing. Got a certificate for surviving two years of hell. Nice to know the IT staff have a sense of humour. Also saw my Physics teacher, who smiled at me then looked baffled as I proceded to get into a car. Not surprsing, sconsidering I was supposed to have Physics about five minutes later. Still, no call, so I guess he figured I had an appointment or something.
Guess this means my half term started today, anyway. I'll probably spend tomorrow hiding from sister going crazy realising she's forgotten things for her trip. Need to get things like essay titles and halfterm homeworks off people. And I've got to remember to call my driving instructor, because otherwise I'm having a lesson at 7am on Tuesday, nad I don't particularly want to get up prior to 7am if I don't have to. Must reschedule. Soon. Tonight? Now? Nah, probably too late. Tomorrow, 7 o'clock, I will phone. Yes.
