25/4/03 12:44 pmMost annoying thing about Yahoo: Once you've replied to an emiail you have to go through this whole rigamol to get to hte next one. Same with most email servers. Fondly remember a chatroom which had the wonderful button 'reply and delete'. Email should have that.
Most annoying thing about AOL: It buggered up the whole computer yesterday so you couldn't run it. Tok up 100% of the CPU, which it shouldn't. Yeah, I'm not entirely certain what that means either, except in a pureply theoretical sense.
Most annoying thing about college: Practice paper. I spent yesterday trying to do the IT one. Well, both, actually. So incredibly dull. Mind numbingly tedious... Yes, it reached the point where I was looking for synonyms for boring. That and using the answer booklet they so kindly proivded to work out what the wanted me to say. No copying, put what I would hvae anyway, but it makes a nice safety net.
Oh joy, got the maths ones to do before mon as well. Six of them. And I'm out tonight. Birthday party. In a field. In England. Actually, it was really hot last night, so here's hoping the weather holds. Going to avoid the alcohol, as unless there's enough to get me properly drunk i'll just depress myself. General impression is there'll be minimal alcohol anyway. Birthday girl isn't great fun when she's drunk, and we finally told her this, so she won't be proviing any booze.
Ugh, holiday almost over. Not good. Done nothing. No revision. No homework (except one and a half IT tests). Going to leave it all to Sunday, I guess.
Blackheath Fete soon, though. Going to call Soph and ask her, since we rarely see each othe any more and she cam last year, when I almsot fainted. gt my finger caught in a rifle, saw the medical van people, stood there thinking 'my vision's fading out and i can barely hear him, should I mention this? Nah.' then found walking in a striaght line a bit challenging. Why mention this? It's one of three interesting things that has hapened to me. Authors are supposed to write books based on their own experiences. Seems my book consists of girl whose dad died when she was six fancies other girl who's boyfriend first girl also find attractive and almost faints one day. Yeah. Gripping.
^_^ Okay, I like my stable, boring life. It's comfortable and safe and insulated and all those things people are supposed to resent about middle-class England, or whatever. University is going to be such a culture shock...
