minervasoloMy mother has decided to change the computer to 800x600. Oh dear god. Yes, everything is bigger and easier to read. Unfortunately, very few things fit on the screen now. The world loves 1024x800 (or whatever). So do I. I'm also too used to having my favourites list open the whole time, so viewing space is now itty-bitty.
I have my English coursework to rewrite today, plus another English essay on precisely the same thing. We went and put XP on my computer, so now I have no excuse to use hte one downstairs that doesn't work (though it's still considerably faster than my one - I might go and nick some of the memory off it). I have to go and swap keyboards and mice around though, because my desk is too small and all the computer peripherals are too big. I can't fit the monitor and keyboard in front of each other, so i give myself back ache typing at one angle and looking at another.
This screen resolution is driving me insaaane...
(Oh, and Alz-chan has a journal. I'd wondered what had happened to you!)
