minervasoloI have a sore thorat, scalp eczema, insomnia and I'm still not taking these antibiotics every 8 hours like I'm supposed to. I have a maths exam first thing on monday, and I'm going to hte beach in the cold, wet and dark tonight.
And I'm done being negative?
... yes, i think that's it.
So, weekend again. having taken Thursday afternoon off, i really wasn't ready for that. Feels odd. Ooh, but it's sunny, which is cool.
I got teh blue screen of death on my writing computer last night. My reaction was actually more one of "I told you so" than anything else. I knewthe problem was in the BIOS. Well, it kinda had to be, because it's definitely a memory problem and we've already replaced both hte ROM and RAM. I spent several hours back everything up, and making decisions to abandon large numbers of unfinished fics and stories. And a whole bunch of pictures that I'm not really sure where they came from in hte first place.
And the result of this it that when i fainally managed to get to sleep at about 6 this morning, i dreamt that everyone was drawing celtic crosses on graph paper and refused to believe me when i told them i'd done that years ago, until i should them the computer and pointed out how a bitmap is a lot like graphpaper. And seeing as that makes no sense to anyone without one piece of information, here it belatedly is: I have spent some time using paint to copying complex celtic crosses from a book. It helps when they're symmetrical though.
I am going to be so shattered tonight. Do other people know Hearn isn't coming (though he seemed cheerful when i spoke to him yesterday, and blamed his decision not to go on the weather report pointing out very very big storm)? Anyway, i may very well fall asleep going there/back. Especially if I take my CD player.
