4/1/04 06:31 pmThere was one thing I absolutely promised myself I had to buy before I went back to college a new file. Guess what I didn't buy? Bugger. Oh, and there's reams of homework i haven't done, and a book for English i was meant to have bought, but mostly irritated at myself for forgetting the file. I was in WHS on Friday, for god's sake! I looked at files!
On hte other hand, I've finished my Eng CW and done some maths, and we've rearranged the sitting room. Oh, and we're getting rid of one of the computers because, hey, it doesn't work anyway. Need more space. No where near enough space in this house. Will be so glad when i'm moving out.
I noticed something today. While i'm still mostly ignoring the fact I didn't get into Cambridge, I worked out that one of hte reasons I wanted to get in was because it took away a choice. If I got into Cambridge, that was that. Now i have to pick from my other universities. Exeter has a course I'd relaly enjoy, but don't think i could do much with it in later life, while Warwick is more prestiguous and York is damn pretty. I have to pick a first and a second choice, and I can't even pick which two are going to be choices, full stop.
I don't enjoy making decisions. Once made, I'm fine, except when people bug me about whether I made the right decision (not mentioning any names, mum), but the maiking makes me stressed. And I have A2 exam soon, and I've got a lot of stuff I really ought to be getting on with. Oh well.
Finished the counterfic. Just need to get around to uploading it now. It's in five parts, mostly because I got sick of * * * when I wanted to throw in a bit of suspence. Will probably just upload it all at once though.
