1/1/04 12:51 pmLooking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would in 2003, less, or about what you'd predicted?
A hell of a lot more. To be honest, i had thought I'd have been bored of writing by about March and stopped alotogether again, but finding FFN where people review turned out to be a huge incentive to keep going. I also wrote for far more fandoms than i expected. I thought WK, and maybe a bit of BtVS, since I used to write that anyway, but I ended up with Wolf's Rain, Boymeetsboy and Harry POtter all thrown in too.
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2003?
Probably Boymeetsboy, since i honestly never expected to get anything done for that. And possibly Harry Potter, because I didn't even get into the fic side of that until i finished OotP.
What was your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest.
Ooh, hard. Probably some of the really fluffy WK stuff, because after spening eleven months of the year writing OUAN I really needed it. Also, there's the fic I haven't written yet, becuase I'm refusing to let myself until i finish OUAN, but Ive got it plotted and I think i'll enjoy writing it.
Did you take any writing risks in 2003? What did you learn from them?
I learnt that there are no unwritable pairings for WK ^_^ You just have to step back and get your head around it. Not really risks, though. I suppose 'to be' was a risk, since it was mostly dialogue and bad puns, but that went down frighteningly well. 'Fake it' falls under the same category, since that's entirely dialogue, but there's only three characters so it works okay.
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for 2004?
fafic: Finish OUAN before Febuary. I started it then (Anria's birthday) and I know its an unreasonable goal to get it finished by then but I'm sick of having it hang over me. Also must finish DD and MIS if Sandra lifts the fic ban. Then I'll start another epic fic, but only then. Oh, and I have two fic competitions to enter and a counterfic to finish, but thats all by march.
Profic: Write more, basically. Finish Greenhelm before I go to Uni, how's that sound? Got to plot out the end of that properly at soe point, nad give it a real name. I've spent four years calling it Greenhelm as a workng title and I've really got to stop.
I really want to go shoppping, but most of the shops will be closed today. Damn. Mad urge quashed.
