Okay. Christmas has been and gone, and despite many wonderful presents, the one I like best is... a bookmark. Probably cost about 99p, and it turned up in my 'stocking' (I get the impresion my mother will be doing sotkcings for me and my sister until we're forty), which was actually a box.

Going for a walk along a beach tomororw, apparently. Meeting up with old family friends and their kids. One of whom recently came out as gay and might be bringing his boyfriend, much to his father's chagrin. Anyway, first time I've seen him since he came out, and Chloe set up him and his boyfriend. So we're going to walk on a stony beach and have fish and chips and probably get rained on a lot.
Must make a decision about NYE. ...going to put it off.
Must do Eng CW and maths and IT and other stuff. Kinda can't be bothered. Will fnished counterfic for TISPanther instead, and work on entries for ficompetitions, such as they are. Will be interesting. Honest. And must work on other writing. And must not, under any circumstances, dwell on the fact that aproximately a week form now I will know whether I have got into Cambridge or not.
