NYE stadns for New Year's Eve, because I'm too lazy to type the damn phrase out over and over again

The cookies or whatever are acting up again. i ought to stay logged in to LJ, but no. Oh well. Happens occasionally. Bloody AOL and all that.

Neroli is no longer having a NYE party, but Lizzard is. So i might go to lizzard's with my sister, except I have very little in common with most of their mutual friends, and while i am friends with lizzard, most people are going to think i'm there because Chloe's there. But if I don't go, mum will make a fuss that I'm staying home along on NYE. I'm not going to the pub, full stop. Do i want to spend NYE with alarge number of over forties, many of htem single men, unable to drink because I've lived in this village pretty much all my life and most people know I'm not yet 18? Hmm, hard choice. Lessee, no? So lzzard's it probably is, if I can find someone else I know who's going (Anria?) and can possibly work out a way home, since she wants as few people staying as possible, which is fair enough because it's a small house and a lot of people would want to stay if she let them. Have to check if anyone else from round here is going.

Really, probably going to end up spending NYE home alone, or possibly home with Chloe. If I could drive it would be fine, but that's a bit off yet. Well, actually, if Chloe goes to lizzard's I'm pretty much obliged to go, and i love Lizzard, but I can see it being a very long evening all things considered. And I won't be getting drunk, so it'll be even longer, though laughing at people younger than you can be mildly amusing.

If Lizzard is having a NYE party, this is the first I've heard about it. Of course, considering she's been ignoring me recently, that's not a surprise.

I get the impression this is her normal way of doing things - she doesn't bother take the time to actively invite people, i.e. ring them up, but she puts an invitation on her MSN. That's how Chloe and I found out, and pretty much everyone else.

Actually, she'll normally ring you up or text you if she wants you to come. Or at least she does with me.

It's not just the NYE party that makes me think she's ignoring me, though - I sent her two text messages at Christmas and called her house once, and she didn't reply to any of them. All I wanted to know was when to bring her present over. >.<

I had that trying to get hold of Gene. Her present is still sitting on my chest of drawers, but I havn't heard from her. It's perfectly possible that people went away for Christmas, i imagine. Family make these demands.

As far as I know, lizzard hasn't actually called anyone in particular about this party. Could be because most people already have parties, and you get this wonderful social dance where you try and guess who's been invited to waht and you don't want to ask in case someone hasn't been invited to something and they didn't know there was something to be invited to. Like here, in fact. I only texted you, Roz and Jacobi, but you're the only person I've heard from. Perhaps there's a national text crisis we haven't been informed of, eh?

I don't particuarly feel like going, but I don't feel like spenidng NYE on my own, and neither do i feel like spending it at the pub. Bit of a fix, that. XP Heh, I'll probably stay here.

Jacobi I don't know about, but Roz never checks her mobile. Or her email. You're better off going for calling her house directly. As for Lizzard . . . I'm probably just being paranoid, but this idea that she's ignoring me is not responding to rational thought. >.>

I think we'll both be spending NYE on our own. Bah, I dunno. I'm not going to Lizzard's in any case.

You could probably come here, if you want. No reason why not, though I'll have to check and see what plans are for the first, because I know we've been invited somewhere mum doesn't want to go, and I'm not sure if we've got out of it or not yet ^_^
