minervasoloI feel perhaps I ought to put I know very little about some of the people on my friends' list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your fic, or we have something else in common and we chat occasionally. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.
But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...she likes spinach."
I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who I know really well. Then post this in your own journal. up, what with being a conformit sheep and all, but really, i know perfectly well where everyone on my Friends list came from. It's nearly all fandom related, except Del, who gave me a code, and Anria, who i know IRL and gave a code to.
I think I'm coming down with a sore throat. This is actually a source of amusement for me (no, honest!) because the last person i know who had a sore throat was Anria, and I haven't seen her since Wednesday. Since then, however, I dreamed I pulled her, and shortly afterwards my throat started to hurt. So huh, i guess you can contract illness via dreams. Also ironic, because while I fancied her the biggest role she ever got in a dream was something like "Let's go to the tuck shop". In this dream, however, she'd forgotten to get me a christmas present and decided it made a reasonable substitute. Tor was also there, putting her feet on a chair opposite so Jacobi couldn't sit with us. Also an unusual dream because I actually had a follow up, where I mentioned al of the above to Anria. We were at my old school, which is pretty common for dreams about friends who never went there.
dream!me: It's funny, but now I've got this sore throat and a few days ago I had a dream that we made out
dream!Anria: Shhh! Don't say that
~me: huh?~ (the rational me thought it, but rational me is only an observer in dreams)
dream!me: huh?
dream!Anria: [stage whisper] You shouldn't say that because of your crush! (I think she was worried about people knowing...)
~me: but, huh? I don't have a crush on you any more~
dream!me: but, that had nothing to do with it! i just told you because I thought it was funny!
So, yes. Anria has sore throat. I dream about pulling her. I have sore throat. I dream about telling her. Random. And now my throat hurts and I can't afford to miss any more college and I don't particularly want to be ill over christmas either. Sigh.

Okay. I am 21. Female. Nerdy. Asocial. (not as in anti-social/psycho (though a little of that too) but as in "I really don't mind being alone a lot") I don't like spinach. I study to become a multimedia produser, but I'm planning on studying something else instead... theatre, writing, anything really. I've just not quite figured out what I'm good at yet. Got nooothing to to with heavy parental guidance in my choices of studies turning me into a well-educated good-for-nothing brainer, nooooo.
Cat-obsessed. My future planning includes a large, old villa and five hundred cats, and I'll know every one of them by name but not remember if my grandchild is a boy or a girl.
