It's not writers block, because I'm five pages in, but it's something. Plot block. Linear story-telling block. Being able to get to the bloody point block.

*sympathy* I've been there, wish I had useful advice with regard to it. I think sometimes all you can do is keep writing until you hit something.

Mostly deleting and rewriting, and deleting and rewriting, and deleting and rewriting... well, it works a bit. It's a sort of two stpes back, one step forwards approach to trimming waffle.
