I don' normally bother to comment much hear about the comics I'm reading. I know most people aren't that interested. Ninety per cent of the time I'd just be ranting, anyway. But, Oh Em Gee, the art in this week's X-Men is pretty. And the story line is still interesting, and the characterisation. But mostly the stunning art. All of the characters are distinctive, the facial expression are perfect, and the 'special effects' are great. It all looks great.

Of course, it's about to split into a huge crossover, and thanks to the writing I'm actually inerested in it. There goes a large chunk of money!

This is what happens when I fall off the storyline. Which story line are you talking about? Who's the artist?

I think Frank Choi is the artist (I think, i've not got the comic to hand), though his stuff hasn't wowed me like this before. The storyline is the build up to the next event, but it's done wuite well as a stand alone too. Sinister has requited both Marauders and Acolytes to go around killing anyone with any knowledge of the future, including seers, time travellers and so on. They've mostly been going up against Rogue's team, (Rogue, Mystique, Sam, Bobby, Cable, Lady Mastermind and a sentinel). The team had three turncoast in it (guess who!) and everyone's pretty much getting their arses handed to them. It's actually making me look forwards to the event, where the first mutant child since M-Day is going to be born (and is almost certainly either M or Siren's over in X-Factor).
