"I’ve tried to get better. I’ve put effort into not doing that sort of thing any more, and you couldn’t even conceive of how much effort that takes. I’ve atoned and I’ve earned my redemption. I’m one of the good guys now.
"And if you still refuse to accept that, then perhaps you’re the bad guy."
I can't work out who would be saying that, so you can pick your favourite evil-turned-good character, or just plain evil character. Spike's a dstinct possibility.
