20/4/07 06:37 pmRight, I've finished my original submission. Unfortunately, it's 500 words too long. The theme seems to be exploring Bramley in different voices and tenses, using walks as the framing device for a selection of memories. And a diary entry and a map. If I manage to cut enough, I might stick another 'thing' in it. Or I might just shift the map to between the second and third pieces.
Got Great British Chef on. This is the second week in an row where one chef as come down with a cold and lost his sense of taste on the judging day. I wonder if he caught it from last week's person? Having managed to find some Rhubarb and Ginger crumble after last week left me craving it, it looks like this week I'll have to have my eye out for cranachan.
Currently, I'm struggling to remember how to make an omlette. I'm not meant to have eggs, but those ads have convinced me it's the only thing I can make out of what I have in my fridge.
