7/4/07 08:12 amWow. I seem to be the only person ever to get a brand new Dell Inspiron 1150 and actually have it work. The fan did run constantly, and loudly, but it never actually shut down on me or have any parts some working. Maybe taking the keyboard off was a good thing! The highest price I've found one being sold for at the mo is £280. I guess for a three year old laptop (that apparently wasn't very good to start with) that's the best I'll get.
I may laso have just discovered a good compromise between cheapness of online and the ease of getting it repaired if bought in a shop: Curry's refurb site.
