I had a briliant dream last night (which resulted in me utterly oversleeping, but oh well). There was a team of soldiers who were sent to the Amazon, to catch this girl. Though at some points it wasn't the Amazon, it was a warehouse (sometimes full of trees, sometimes just shelves). They had a hide at the top of a tree, where the girl couldn't find them, but obviously they couldn't catch her if they stayed up there. In the end, she killed all but three of them, and I think the hide got destroyed. The remaining three fled to a nearby village, where I think the girl ended up on their side.

Brigantes was good last night, though I spent way too much. I am in complete prevarication mode instead of doing any essay stuff (I've even opened my National Trust magazine - I never read them, because they make me want to go to all sorts of places I can't get to). Done a bit of reading now, though, and after this post I shall do some more. Then it's off to the library for a book exchange (I love Propertius, but I really have to return him to the library and get out more Utopian Criticism instead). In theory, it's then some reading, but it's probably some food shopping instead. And this evening I'm (I want to say 'ferreting' - whatever the word I'm looking for is, that's what I'm getting instead Oh, or 'chairing') 'hanging around at the back of the hall, to point out emergency exits and suchlike' Pirates of Penzance.

I really have to stop prevaricating now. I've even lit the candle I brought up after Christmas. It's quite dusty, so that should be interesting. As yet, it has not made my room smell nice. Though I did just burn my nose a bit.

Very much so. I'm going to go and get that book out of the library now. I'm getting a better idea of where to focus in terms of criticism, and hopefully I'll grasp a nice linear argument very soon.
