I got drunk last night. Two glasses of wine and three strawberry Daquiris will do that. The four daquiri was drunk by Toast and Patch. The Castanets were good, but took a long time about starting. I still like trains, even though the one there was packed and the one home had very slow to open doors, which isn't what you want when you're going to be sick. Leeds station at night is cool, but very cold. Got in at something past one (the Castanets were playing in Sheffield, I should add) and went to bed at something past two. No hangover this morning, though I got woken at ten by a knock on the door, followed by the phone rining, followed by Toast's alarm going off upstairs. Clearly I was not meant to get any more sleep.

A little while ago, I pulled a bit of skin out form the side of my nail. As a result, it went red and hot, and probably swelled a little. This was normal, this was my body trying to kick a minor infection. So, yesterday evening, I noticed that next to my nail... it's gone green.

Oops.

I'm now smothering it in TCP, Savlon and Boots antiseptic spray at regular intervals, and dithering over a trip to the drop in centre. It's swollen and hot and my finger doesn't bend very well. The green patch is tinytiny, and here's hoping it doesn't get larger, but I don't know if it's even enough to convince someone it's not healthy.

Also, I've had really sensitive teeth today. And not a lot of appetite. I have a lot of reading to do, can't really shake the feeling it's sunday, and probably won't be coming to writing.

Sounds very much like you need some antibiotics. Get yourself to the doctors!

Oooooohh... infection... :( ditto that- get to the clinic! Can't have those wonderful typing fingers of yours hurt in any way!!!!!! (hint, hint, update C&S!!! ;) )

I had one of those - same reason :( - & the health centre were good about it, no suggestion of malingering. I'd suggest you take it in on Monday. You probably need anti-biotics & they might drain it to take the pressure off.
