minervasoloWe have submissions for the magazine! This makes me almost pecularly excited. But then, I didn't get to sleep until after 5AM, and woke up a few times before getting up at 10. I've had coffee (well, a mocha with two espressos in it), but I think it's wearing off a little. Considering how little caffiene I normally drink - a cup of tea every few days - I was hoping for more of a reaction.
There is a Food festival in town. Thus far I have had Paella and Tartiflette. Next stop for lunch is the Thai/Malaysian/Chinese stall, which apparently stays open quite late, and also sells beer. And maybe after that an Aberdeen Angus whatever, though I've no clue how much longer this market's going to be there. I love it when it comes round, though, and even if I can't afford to I'm going to try the many things.
Last night was Toasty_renfield's 21st bday party (today is his bday). Twas good. There was much talking to rhube and 87degrees about important things, and much talking tomany people (it's weird being at a party where I actually know most of the people - well, a party involving more than seven people, anyway). Then some of us trooped back to patch's, which was good. Toast developed a bit of a foot fetish, being very impressed that Rach was quite happy to have her feet fondled. I remained ticklish, but Rachel did some experiments to see precisely where I was ticklish, which was lovely. I quite like having my feet stroked, it seems, but only in certain ways, and only by people who won't mind when I inevitably kick them in the chin involuntarily.
We got home at about 4AM, which wasn't bad at all. I've been trying to remember wehn I was last up that late - I know I have been, but I suspect it might not have been since sixth form. I am truly a dull person.
