minervasoloAs evidenced, the internet I back. I finally caught up on my FList this morning. Silly me, thinking "oh, only 80 posts to catch up on tomorrow before I hit new stuff" yesterday, and the day before... I guess you guys must be averaging 80 posts a day, because the list never got any shorter!
(no, I didn't get up a little earlier today to catch up, honest. It was all Latin, I swear)
I like Ovid better than Virgil, which makes me a little ashamed because I've been doing Virgil since GCSE. Ovid just makes sense! He doesn't skip random words, or invent contractions, or assume you'll know that the verb you need at the start of the sentence is actually six lines down and needs to be used seven times despite only appearing once.
I seem to have lost my phone. By which I mean I haven't had a really good looks for it yet, but I've checked all my bags and my pockets. I may have to call the Brigantine and see if it stayed there when I went home. I also need to phone the food alergy people. Do not let me forget! And go and renew an overdue book. And finish that procedural essay, and read French Leuitenant's Women for next week.
It's like I'm busy, but I'm really not. Hmm.
