Woo! The essays are complete, and below (or on) the word limit. I have my candidate number and all that fluff. I can hand them in! After, you know, five more read throughs.

It's been a very productive day. I cahtted to my supervisor (who seems okay with the mag being unratified, and agrees the SU were being a bit funny about it all), found King's Manor (and iris_bleu!), had Pret soup that did me a lot of good, and collected the magazines. Oh, and I even read some Chaucer. Considering I've had a sore throat and a muggy brain, that's not bad at all. Now to seek out some well-deserved dinner and read more Chaucer.

The Canterbury Tales: Like The Never Ending Story, but with fewer fluffy white dragons.

(I hated those films, BTW. For some reason they terrified me as a kid)

Oh gods, that'll be awful :S I really hope they don't try, or at least that Carl will be around somewhere to tell them why they don't have a place. Or that they don't exist, that'd be best!
