I kinda feel like I've wasted the past few days. I keep forgetting I'm in Surrey, and all the people I haven't seen for ages are also in Surrey. I think. Human contact would probably have done me some good, too. Normally, I talk to myself. No problem with that. Recently most of my attention has turned to the catsinstead, chatting to them (about them, usually, not about random stuff). Yesterday, though, I started talking to the large spider that had taken up residence in the bath. It started as "Bloody Hell, you're a bit big, aren't you?" (yes, I actually said 'bloody hell') aand by the evening I ended up with something like "Are you eating something? You know, I haven't had dinner yet."

I've also overdosed to Superman, I think. 'The New Adventures of Superman', 'Smallville' and 'Krypto the Superdog' seem to be on every day, one after the other, on different channels. I'm really coming to like Lex Luthor.

So, from tomorrow onwards I shall have vehicular transportation to destinations of my choice once again (provided I'm nice to mum and Chloe doesn't want to be anywhere). I don't think It would be fair of me to ask for a lift the day she gets back from her course, but does anyone want to meet up and go to a pub or something from Tuesday onwards? Thursday's good, coz that's when Chloe's at her ATC, I think.

Aww. I got invited to lunch today by Kendrick and co, but damn those intervening miles, I couldn't make it! There shall definitely be much pubbing when I get back to York (and no doubt I'll really appreciate the prices, too!)
