13/4/05 04:01 pmI'm in love with Blackwell's on campus. They have a larger manga selection than most of the major bookshops in town, and while their graphic novel selection is tiny, it's good. Nothing too mainstream, oddly. Fables, Preacher, Hellblazer, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen... Since the coursebook turned out to be £20, I decided I deserved a present, and bought myself volume 1 of Fables. It was not a mistake. You gotta love Prince Charming.
Bigby (AKA Big Bad Wolf): She disappeared a few days after you got back into town. Nice Coincidence, huh?
Charming: You are a tedious, small man, and in need for more frequent bathing.
Charming: I've always believed a truly accomplished nobleman should hone his cockmanship every bit as much as his swordmanship. In each case one should know when it's better to thrust or parry or bind. When it's time to withdraw or riposte.
Molly: I don't know what riposte means, but don't you dare withdraw yet!
Charming: And of course, when it's time to finally commit all to the --deep-- lunge.
Molly: Yippee! My hero.
The second monologue spoken during sex. I love Molly's 'yippee!' Charming reminds me of Swiss Toni there, a little. "Being an accomplished swordsman is a lot like making love to a beautiful woman..."
Anywhere, there went all my money. Oh well. ^_^ Now to post loan thingy, and finish Trigun. Oh, and possibly glance in the direction of those pesky reading list books. Currently, I'm distracted by Toast's most enjoyable playlist he uploaded onto my laptop last night. ^_^
Also? I'm entirely sick of writing out my address. This has to have been the eighth of ninth time now. Damn loan form.
