All those plans to write stuff went right out the window. I have to start thinking about essays again now. Oh well.

Watched My Beautiful Laundrette. Rather disappointed, really. Daniel Day Lewis is one of the only ones who can act, and things seem to happen with little or no build up, so plot elements appear from mid air. And then it just ends. All gone.

Anyway, Withnail and I tomorrow, and watched the Blackadder, which leaves Dangerous Liaisons. I've finished Dead until Dark, so I really ought to be getting stuck into Hardy now, but I'm still putting it off. Spent a large chunk of yesterday rereading Glamourlust (I love the various All Rites Reserved etc at the bottom) but failed to have a go at Arcana again. One of these days I'm going to distract myself from some vital piece of work be reading Grayling straight through and seeing if I can keep all the different plot arcs and time shifts in my head. Otherwise it's like reading the Silmarillian at a page a week.

If I throw in any more comic links toasty_renfield will never get his essays done. Actually, Grayling alone is enough to accomplish that.

Comics don't stop me doing essay, they stop me going to bed! Not knowing what to do and generally feeling a bit thick of late stop me doing essay! And LJ and Ninja Pirate 2. I've got three free days at the weekend though and I've got an idea that should cover another good 500+ words today. Thank God. And the meta essay should be good as the dude directly mentions Robert Heinlein '- All You Zombies -' wo0t!

He is very hot, and the other guy (Gordon Warnecke?) is too, but the other guy can't act. It's the sort of film I'm dying for someone to remake, because it could be so much better with a bit of budget behind it.

true, and true. i love daniel day lewis, so i wish we could go back to the 80s and recast the warnecke guy. daniel made the movie anyhow.

One of the guys from QAFUK, since we know they can act, and I'm not sure about the other. The really hot Indian guy from Love Actually? I can't remember if he can act, but I don't think many people would notice if he couldn't ^_^ It'd be hard not to cast the Goodness Gracious me people in the other Indian roles, though, which could ruin it. Girl from Bend it like Beckham could be Tanya (the original wasn't bad, though).
