Finally got laundry done. I'm going to have to save twenty pees all week from now one. Once around in the drier leaves almost everything rather wet (ecept woolly jumpers, oddly). It's all lying around my room now, since I didn't have enough change for another spin.

First lecture fine. I seem to be the only one who didn't find the lelcturer was tlaking to fast, though that might be ebcause I filtered a lot of stuff out as repetition or no use in exam conditions/essay anyway. She was incredibly disorganised. She disappeared for ten minutes because no one could hear her at the back (which would rather more easily been solved by her leaning towards the microphone a little more) and failed to bring enough handouts. Oh, and the front three rows of the left teir (which I was in) were invisible to her, despite much handwaving and calling for attention. Hello, no handouts? Hello, why are you helping them and not us with the handout problem? Hello, still no handouts? hello?

Been organising what meetings I have when. So far:
Monday - York writers 7:30, Cinematography 8:15
Tuesday
Wednesday - YorMag 7:30
Thursday - Sci Fi 8PM
Friday - York Writers 7:30
Saturday
Sunday - Anime Soc 5-11

I'm absolutely certain there was something that happened on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but I can't remember what. If I signed up for it though, they'll probably email and tell me. Hopefully.

Anime club rules. Watched Vampire Hunter D (angsty goths!), Dragon Half (sugar high!) and a bit of All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku (sounds like it's going to be more porny than it is). Dragon Half absolutely rules, right down the the egg song set to Beethoven. Apparantly there's only two episodes of it at all :( Vampire Hunter D was so suitably melodramatic that we all found ourselves laughing at lines intended to be serious (namely: "Nobody understands us"). And it made me want to write random yaoi. Anime club is full of right geeks (such as myslelf) and enjoy ordering large amounts of food. Once, £200 of pizzas. Got a huge discount for that!

I suspect I shall drop out of Cinematography quite quickly, and YorMag may go the same way. Even though I paid to join both, I'm half tempted to turn up to neither meeting. Both involve being assigned jobs in the first few meetings, and I don't want to be assigned a job and then not do it. Really ought to read YorMag...

updated Greenhelm, and I'm still addicted to [livejournal.com profile] limyaael's essays.
