23/3/06 10:23 amLast night, I dreamt my mother had cancer. I woke up, and couldn't work out if it was a dream or not.
Possibly, the fact we owned a goat should have been a hint. And that there was a scritchy black monster that ate insects, then rats, and was probably what killed the goat. And the insanely wealthy friends of the family who sat in cylindrical chairs that faced in different directions.
Still, not pleasant.
The Isle of Wight was good fun. I kept falling asleep in the back of the car, and being woken from various dreams by people talking. I'm still scared of lambs. Absolutely huge meal on Saturday night, which I really enjoyed. Quite a lot of food and alcohol, all things considered, for which I paid nothing (family love ^_^ )
We went to portsmouth on monday, which was fun, and I now own GIS2. Oh, and we went up the giant sail thing, and the extent to which I'm not bothered by heights is beginning to worry me. There's a glass floor up there you can walk across. Totally unbothered by it (much like the adorable little child, who may not have even noticed).
That's it for the South this easter. Sorry I didn't see anyone, but I can't afford to come down again, and with essay and magazine and reading, I don't really have time anyway.
Plans for today:
Go to pool and pick up swimming timetable (and possibly swim)
Purchase cereal
Sort out cheque for ISA
Seek out more course books
... I know there was something else I had to do. No clue what though. Oh well.
Oh yes, call mother, since my phne charger is still at home. Um, don't ring me, 'key?
