21/1/05 01:26 pmI'm bouncy and grinning and saying "ooh" a lot in a strange but utterly sincere voice.
I knew I had a later Christmas present coming from my aunt, after a lot of fuss about who was visiting who over Christmas and how things should be wrapped and who should be watching, which all eventually resulted in not seeing her or the cousins at all. I had some idea what the present was going to be after mum said if I got a black hat would I swap with Chloe. So, i pick up parcel, and cut it open (covering my room with parcel-insulation, or whatever it is). First thing I see is my pink t-shirt, which is a very cool ppink t-shirt and I was sad to leave behind. So "Ooh" the first. Second thing I see is two DVDs. "Ooh" the second, followed by looking at the covers and reading the note and "Ooh"ing a bit more, because they are anime (one if the Pitch Black tie-in, the otheris called 'Sword for Truth'). Apparantly harry saw them and bought them for me, as late extra-presents (since he wasn't mobile before Christmas and didn't manage to get much for anyone). Another "Ooh" came in opening the actual present from my aunt, which contans a white hat and yet another "Ooh" over a very pretty top. So I wandered around a bit, continuing "Ooh"ing, and then came on here to "Ooh" and you lot.
I love surprises like this ^_^
Of course, I'm not getting the reading done. I shall have lunch, collect washing, and then be out of excuses not to read, and hence shall read. And maybe call mum later on to say thank you and ask if any more bank stuff has come. And Writer's Soc tonight, which I will actually go to.
