new formatting is nice, but it's too big for my screen. tey couldn't make it suitable for 800x600 as well?

Getting up insanely early for work :( Since I'm the first in, I might be sneaking and get in at 9:10, instead of 8L50 (damn buses). I only get paid from 9:30 onwards, so either way...

You know, I meant to get a student account and be home by 1:30 today. Instead, I got my bra pinged at 12 and ended up in Guidlford til 3. Guess who turned up at work today? ^_^

[livejournal.com profile] almighty_frog and I had much fun. And much cheap chinese food. But msot importanly, we came home with much comics/manga. As in, I now have Ultimate Nightmare (which looks bloody decent so far), a The Authority comic, and a The Authority graphic novel. I want to go back now and buy random x-men issues. Depsite that fact that if I hang on a bit they'll be appearing in Essential X-men, and none of them have the arcs I'm interested in. Also bought The Fully Monty and Human Traffic, both of which are great films and mange to drag my DVD collection out of the 'insane horror freak' category (previously I had one vampire film and three zombie films). Oh, and I didn't get a student account, but HSBC no longer offer anything of any use with their account (well, there's £55, but I'd rather have a railcard, even if it means no money of books and internet and stuff). So next time I'm at work, when it's not a Sunday, I'll scope out Natwest. In the meantime, I have two blissfully work free days. In which to prepare for and take my driving test.

Heh. Stress. Constant. I need to go and find 'The Handmaid's Tale' now for that Latin quote. Still, it's all not too bad, and I get paid tomorrow, so I can buy more comics save something for uni.

Plans for tomorrow:

Pick up prescription from Doctor's, like I meant to today
Fill in various York forms
Get around to uploading a working version of Fleurs (and seeing if I'm right in my guess that it will work)
Write something. Anything. Or draw more Sam Handle stuff.

I have all these plans for a webcomic, and probably enough 'scripts' for a good thirty episodes. I can't draw it as I'd like to, but I igure if I get thirty strips done before I even consider putting it online, and then update once a week, I should never get too far behind on updates. I haven't really got enough storyline for more than two, three years, but I can't see myself sticking with something like this for too long, not unless it catches a lot of people's interest. If anyone's interested in a LGBT University-set comic about a girl who fancies her gay male roomate, who fancies his straight mate, let me know. I have got a bunch of scripts up at [livejournal.com profile] plotting, but I've been thinking about changing some aspects of the story (Sam would work in a clothes store, not a library, since hey, I can actually vouch that it really is that boring and you do get that many weird people. And also because [livejournal.com profile] museandmistress's idea of a mad elderly librarian who brings you coffee and tells you not to get stressed has been growing on me way too much). Really ought to do more with plotting at the moment. Like, log in and friend back the people who friended it.

Long, rambling post. Whee. And it turns out I can't spell strike right twice.
