17/8/04 10:14 amAnkle still busted. Oh well.
Hurts a bit, I guess, but I have a high pain tolerance for anything that goes on (except headaches, but I never let those go on). School trip to Wales when i was eleven, fell down the stairs in the boarding house on hte first night and bdly sprained my ankle. Went on to walk up a mountain, through a steel works, down a mine and through some caves. Got home, told mum about sprained ankle. Got told I couldn't possibly walk if I sprained my akle; it would be hte size of a football. Took shoe off "You're ankle's the size of a football! How can you walk?"
I tell that story way too often. Suffice to say, I'll dig out an ankle support at some point and ignore it until it goes away. It's actually swollen a bit now. Heh.
