I have no actual work to do, by dint of missing the last two days of term. Well, I really ought to be phoning people and finding what work I do have to do, but not today. Instead I have much geek stuff to do. See, when most people do a page about what they like about characters in their favourite show, it's jsut that. Me? Well, it's six pages and counting, I'm still looking for pictures and I'm writing about characters I know nothing about. But then, I don't plan to have this finished til May, so i really ought to calm down a bit and focus on things people are expecting of me in March.
I don't mind being a geek. I just enjoy it too much, and it keeps getting in the way of real things. Like college work. Mum's bugging me to start doing exam revision. Ri-ight. Normally an Easter thing. I'm lucky if I'll do revision for test I have day after end of half term.
I've been internet deprived all day. Pity me. I'm trying to catch up on reading my friends page (come on, I don't have that many people listed) and I'm skimming through almost everything, marking in my mind what I'll have to read, I don't know, next Saturday. And I won't get online tomorrow, I don't think, and probably not Wednesday.
I have to be up at 6 tomorrow, for a dirving lesson at 7. And then I'm going to have to stay up til long past midnight for Frog's party. Still able to stay over, right? Wednesday I'm babysitting, Thursday it's Jess's thing about which I KNOW NOTHING (someone fill me in please!) and on Friday Chloe gets back from skiing. And I still have this cough and overtiredness (not going to be helped by tomorrow, I'm sure).
We keep getting trojans, soemthing which has always been wrong with most XP machines and for wihich microsoft has only just released a working patch. Unfortunately. our machine came with XP already loaded, so no CD key, which means no download of software. Thank you, PC world. We suspect you are pirating XP. We also suspect AOL of flogging digital dial up connections as broadband. Grah.
