Ankle still busted. Oh well.

Hurts a bit, I guess, but I have a high pain tolerance for anything that goes on (except headaches, but I never let those go on). School trip to Wales when i was eleven, fell down the stairs in the boarding house on hte first night and bdly sprained my ankle. Went on to walk up a mountain, through a steel works, down a mine and through some caves. Got home, told mum about sprained ankle. Got told I couldn't possibly walk if I sprained my akle; it would be hte size of a football. Took shoe off "You're ankle's the size of a football! How can you walk?"

I tell that story way too often. Suffice to say, I'll dig out an ankle support at some point and ignore it until it goes away. It's actually swollen a bit now. Heh.

I've never broken anything either. If it doesn't go down in a few days I might, but I'm sure it's fine. And it'll give me an excuse for not doing much at work!

Hello as a friend of Gods I probably know you.

Just thought i'd share that I went shopping around Guildford with a broken ankle before. It wasn't really a good idea.

I can imagine! I was okay - standing all day wasn't great, but it's not throbbing or anything. If it's still a bit achy by friday I might try and get a doctor's appointment - I'm going to Belgium on Saturday.

Ears hurt. For about two hours it was a really hot kind of pain. I've never broken anything (that I know of - I think I once broke my little toe, but there's not exactly anything anyone can do about that anyway). I'll never do anything to go out of my way to put myself in pain, and if there are painkiller available I'll take them (especially for internal pain, i.e. headches, stomachaches etc. Things I didn't do to myself). I guess I'm just okay with sprains.

i think i'm okay with sprains/stiches/headaches/stomachaches... but like bone crunching type of pains no. or inflicted things like piercings... waxing your legs, too!
*shudders*
or tattoos... i dont know how people do that to themselves!

Never waxed anything. They say yuou have to hurt to be beautiful, but damn, I don't want to be that beautiful. And I doubt I'll ever have any more piercings (I can't think of anywhere they'd look nice on me anyway). I don't know how painful tattoos are. Probably varies where you get them and so on, because I know some people who say they're less painful than piercings.

well as for tattoos... my brother and sister both got one at the top of their arms...
my brother said it was like a constant bee-sting, my sister said it tickled.
but then, i think my sister got herself a bit drunk before doing it. ^^;
