minervasoloI understand that it was someone's birthday next door lstnight I understand wanting to celebrate and congratulate the person. I do not understand why this went on in the form of a very loud conversation over their garden wall right by my window until 1AM. Seriously, couldn't the birthday boy/girl just invite them in? It was baking last night, but I had to shut the window and cover my head with duvet to even imagine sleeping. So of course I woke up at about six and had to open the window, so I'm shattered. I had this kind of "if I stay in bed time will stay still and I won't have to go to work" attitude, but phone alarm woke me up. I'd already set it back an extra half hour, and hae since decided to get the later bus...
Sleep. want sleep. Will get back at 2, have to pack, have to tidy, have to make nice to arriving family...
It disturbs me that some people in America are getting ready to go back to school. I much prefer mid-July to September off. And currently, October!
