minervasoloI have been more stressed since the end of my exams than i was throughout them. Headaches, stomachaches, screwy dreams... the lot. Last night I dreamt I had to take my Crit Think test today, and it was at another school and the bus was late and there was some vague Simpsons horror in there. Then i panicked because Friday was yesterday, which meant I must have forgotten to go to my exam. Until I remembered it was last week.
Sophie's coming tonight! ^__^ I've got to find a way of learning if she has a DVD player. I am so stuck for present ideas for her. I was even looking at useful-for-uni stuff.
Working today. I'll get almost £50 this weekend, which is good. On the other hand, still waiting to see what the fallout is from not turning up last sunday. They didn't call, after ten phonecalls. And, joy of joys, I've got to hand in another of those silly requests for time off today. It will be a month in advance, which is good. And I did bring it up at the interview. I brought up last sunday, too, but they never took much notice. If she asks, I will point out that it was the only question I actually asked at the interview, and said 'first week of July and first two weeks of august'. And basically, this is the root of much stress for many weeks now. All this work business. And there is also party stress, which is going to combine because I have to clear up this morning, go to work, meet people and then bam! Except not really, but still, it's all one mixed thing today. And tomorrow. I cannot wait until next week. Monday, monday so soon!
