We finally got fandom_wanked. Its not letting me post a comment at the moment, which is irritating. Slightly amused by the fact that apparently no one figured out that we spell Paedophilia differently in England.

For those here who have no idea what fandom_wank is, it won't appeal ot al, but it does to me. It's that ironic, hypocritical sense of humour. They know they're being nasty. they know they're going to nd up wanking each other and their friends. They don't care because sometimes everyone in stupid, and stupid people can be mocked.

Anyone else here about this 'cold snap' we're supposed to have soon. May go down to as low as -14C. Next Week. When I have to drive to Warwick. And considering what happened to people last year... So I'm slightly freaked by this, but then, recently I've been slightly freaked by everything. Weather and Global Warming have always made me nervous. But hey, going back to college today because I wasn't really that ill anyway, and now my brain has decided it does want to work. Plus, two hour free in the middle of the day.

If you're so amused by being mocked, perhaps you should know that the main and earliest wank was accidentally posted to otf_wank (http://www.journalfen.net/community/otf_wank/55148.html) rather than fandom_wank. Although perhaps I shouldn't tell you as, being rather obviously a snotty teenager expert statistician and talkshow fan, you're not allowed on journalfen in the first place. It's purely for adults.

I didn't know otf_wank existed. Simple as that. I don't make a habit of exploring JournalFen any more than I do LJ. Found the link one day. Read the journal. Was amused.

Expert statistician? Oh dear, I hadn't realised I claimed to be that. I simply said I did Statistics. And I know that whole bit was very wanky. By the looks of it it will continue to get wankier. Enjoy.

God knows my typing isn't that great. You can probably tell from most the LJ post above. I'll go and correct the spelling, shall I? Actually, I meant to edit it anyway thanks to people pointing out I was wrong about the legal aspect.

yes, I am getting dissed. To be honest, I made a bit of a twit out of myself in various places (I remember looking at the comments and thinking I shouldn't reply but ignored myself). They laugh. I laugh. They seem surprised I'm laughing. Because they'd rather I went and swore and typoed all over their journal which I've been reminded that I'm not supposed to post on for another few months?

On the fandom_wank thread, the snotty teenager comment was in reply to someone who wasn't you, but she assumed it was. That was what I meant.

Hum. Hi. You don't know me, but I found your rant by finding Fandom_rants. I didn't want to put my comment there because I certainly don't want anyone to start calling you names again but wanted to tell something to you.

Bravo. Congratulations. It was about time someone said that, especially when you never insulted neither the people who writes that kind of fic, or the people who read it. You only said that "Shota" meant "Pedophilic" (Sorry, don't know the exact spelling) and that people should stop mislabeling it or sugar coating it, the way they sugar coat rape when they label it as non-con.

I don't know how old are you (Although for what I read in the comments you're younger than 18?) but you sound far more logical and composed than some adults in the fandom. So, again, congratulations and I'm very sorry that your point got lost in the wank.

Aw, thanks! It's good to know there were a few people who got the point of what I was trying to say: i.e. that it's easy to misleading label fics and remove the negative connotations.

I knew that rant was likely to get out of hand, but because I made a point of not saying things people thought followed logically, they assumed I had said them, or started discussing them anyway. Didn't mind until people actually did start attributing them to me.

I actually turn 18 later this year, so I ended up ignoring most of the snarky comments about my age becaue a few months isn't going to make much difference. Though I did get a bit wanky myself towards the end as well.

Anyway, thanks again! After everything that thread spawned, your comment has cheered me up.
