minervasoloRoz had the coldest hands at teeh beginning of English. So cold I'm inspired to write a story based on the fact that after she touched my hand I could still feel at the end of the lesson.
Had my ego stroked by Will, form/psychology tutor. He made wow noises at me, and being in not the best of moods this pleased me. He's going to enter me for a college cup for people who do well in science subjects and go on to do a degree in the arts. Why does this cup exist? What precisely is it awarding? The fact people change their mind, or ignore areas in which they have talent, or have pushy parents? I'd say i fulfill 2 1/2 of those criteria. I just hope there's a cup for students who do well in the arts and go on to do science degrees. Only fitting.
He also reminded me I turned down the GHS 6th form scholarship, which i hadn't thought about in a while. Oh, feeling all smart and smug now ^_^ I'd been worrying for a bit if I'd make the required grades - I'm sort of at a B average all round right now, and while I'll certianly get at least one A, Cambridge is likely to require 3.
I'm being reminded of how brilliant some fics are. I'd completely forgotten how amazing a writer Lady Jaida is, on ff.n. I should be reading Wuthering Heights, but meh. I have a driving lesson this evening, and I'm already shattered. much in the way of scarily sugary doughnuts and strong cups of tea. God, why is it every time I have a driving lesson I'm tired? And this bloody hospital appointment tomorrow. And getting stuff sent off to Cambridge ASAP. And babysitting on Friday. And possibly going to a party on Saturday that I probably won't go to, on account of sleeping.
